# RaselSMS integration for SyrPayment

Compatible with the inspected SyrPayment installation running Laravel 12.62.0.

## 1. Back up the current files

From `/home/zoomride2022/public_html/syrpayment.com`:

## 2. Upload the three replacement files

Copy each file from this package to the matching application path. Preserve the directory structure.

## 3. Validate and clear caches

php -l app/Http/Controllers/Admin/SetupSmsController.php
php artisan optimize:clear
```

Both PHP lint commands must say `No syntax errors detected`.

## 4. Configure RaselSMS

In the admin panel, open `Setup SMS > SMS Method`:

1. Select `RaselSMS`.
2. Enter the API key directly in the protected form.
3. Keep Channel as `local_sms`.
4. Keep Message Type as `free_text`.
5. Click Update.

Do not send the key through chat, email, screenshots, or source control.

## 5. Test

Use `Send Test SMS` and enter a Syrian destination as `+9639XXXXXXXX` or `09XXXXXXXX`.

The integration normalizes common Syrian formats to E.164 and rejects invalid numbers before making an API request.

## 6. Important credential cleanup

`database/seeders/Admin/BasicSettingsSeeder.php` contains provider, mail, and notification credentials. Rotate any active exposed credentials, then replace secret values in the seeder with empty strings. Do not run this seeder on production: it calls `BasicSettings::truncate()` and would erase the live settings record.

## Rollback

Restore the `.before-raselsms` copies and run `php artisan optimize:clear`.
